Welcome to the County of Sussex Office of Purchasing
The function of the Office of Purchasing is to provide assistance to all County agencies in securing goods and services in the most efficient and economical manner in accordance with the statutory and regulatory requirements of New Jersey.
The County abides by the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 5:34-1 et seq.), the, Pay to Play Regulations (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.), Business Registration requirements (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) and the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.).
Our goal is to promote the best interests of the County through knowledgeable actions and fair dealings, which will result in obtaining savings for the County.

Since the principal objective of the Office of Purchasing is the acquisition of quality goods and services at the lowest cost, we are constantly seeking new sources of supply. Request to be placed on the Sussex County Vendor List.
