Sussex-Wantage Branch of Sussex County Library System to Temporarily Close for Refurbishment January 15 to January 27

Wantage, NJ - Sussex County Library System (SCLS) announces an upcoming refurbishment project for the Sussex-Wantage Branch in Wantage, NJ to replace the carpet. The branch will close Monday, January 15, and is expected to reopen its doors to the public on Monday, January 29, 2024.

Bookdrops located at the branch will remain open during construction and be emptied daily. Borrowers with outstanding hold requests will be contacted to arrange an alternate pickup location or to suspend their holds until the branch reopens. SCLS apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure and asks for the community's understanding and patience during this period.

Community members are encouraged to utilize the services and resources available at one of the five nearby SCLS branches, including the Dorothy Henry Branch, 66 Route 94 in Vernon and the Main Library, 125 Morris Turnpike in Frankford. Library cardholders can always access the Sussex County Library System's extensive digital collection, including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more through the library's website and digital platforms.
