Press Release - Plea of David M. Utter
PRESS RELEASE

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton on December 6, 2021 by David M. Utter.
Utter, age 32, of Montague, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a crime of the third degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for January 21, 2022 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C.
The defendant admitted to being in possession of cocaine, after being involved in a motor vehicle accident, knowing that it was illegal to possess.
Defendant was represented by Bruce Farrier, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Sally Anne Monkemeier.
