Sussex County Libraries to Celebrate 6th Annual NJ Makers Day March 21, 2020
All Sussex County library programs and group meetings are postponed until further notice.
Newton, NJ - Sussex County Library System (SCLS) invites hands-on hobbyists of all ages to join in as they celebrate the Sixth Annual NJ Makers Day on Saturday, March 21.
"This is our sixth year joining in the statewide Makers Day celebration, and we're hosting more events than ever before" stated Adult Services Librarian Louisa Bann. "For the first time ever we're partnering with St. John's Animal House and O.S.C.A.R. to make toys and blankets for rescue animals at our Dennis and Franklin branches. We're also hosting 3-D book arts at Main Library, cooperative story writing at Dorothy Henry, slime making at Louise Childs and more!"
There are several events scheduled for each of the six SCLS locations, encompassing a wide range of age groups and interests. For the most up-to-date listing, and registration where required, go to the Events Calendar at sussexcountylibrary.org or stop by your local branch for a program flier.
