E. Louise Childs Library Closure Extended to September 4

Stanhope, NJ – The E. Louise Childs Branch, 21 Sparta Road, Stanhope, will remain closed until Monday, September 4 while construction projects are completed. Reopening is planned for 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5.
Book drops located at the branch and at the Hopatcong Municipal Building, 111 River Styx Rd, Hopatcong, will remain open and continue to be emptied daily.
Patrons with outstanding hold requests will be contacted to arrange an alternate pickup location or to extend their holds until the building reopens. Community members are encouraged to utilize the services and resources available at any of the five other Sussex County Library System (SCLS) locations. Hours and directions are available through the SCLS website, www.sussexcountylibrary.org.
The Sussex County Library System and the E. Louise Childs Branch thank the community for their patience and support during this temporary closure.
