     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 29, 2022 by Mynor A. Acte Caal.

     Acte Caal, age 23, of Newton, pled guilty to Possession of Child Pornography, a crime of the third degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for October 27, 2022 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C.                          

     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to possessing more than 100 but less than 1,000 images of child pornography via the internet.

     Acte Caal was represented by Bruce Farrier, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
