     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Michele Moran, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 11, 2021.

 

     Moran, age 28 of Pequannock, was sentenced to two years of probation.  She was given two days of jail credit and ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and continue treatment, to follow any and all recommendations made from the evaluation and treatment, complete 25 hours of community service work, submit a DNA sample and pay fines and fees totaling $1,205.00.

 

     She pled guilty on February 3, 2021, to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime.

 

     The defendant was in possession of heroin and alprazolam in Vernon Township on September 1, 2020.

 

     Moran was represented by Robert Biagiotti, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
