Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Josue Jimenez-Guillen, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 6, 2020.
Jimenez-Guillen, age 21 of Netcong, was sentenced to one year of non-custodial probation to run concurrently with his Morris County probation. He was ordered to complete 75 hours of community service work, and his driver license was ordered suspended for six months.
He pled guilty on January 27, 2020, to Joyriding, a fourth degree crime.
The defendant took an individual’s motor vehicle without consent on November 7, 2019, in Stanhope.
Jimenez-Guillen was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Vanessa Henderson.
