Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 27, 2020, by Christopher Rocco.
Rocco, age 35 of Newton, pled guilty to Eluding, a third degree crime, and Driving While Intoxicated, a motor vehicle offense. Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 6, 2020.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to driving under the influence and attempting to elude a New Jersey State Police trooper on May 8, 2016, in Fredon Township,
The case was investigated by Trooper M. Meehan of the New Jersey State Police.
Rocco was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
