AMENDMENT TO THE SUSSEX COUNTY
DISTRICT SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
TAKE NOTICE that on September 13, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. the Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders shall hold a Public Hearing in the Freeholder Meeting Room, County Administrative Center, One Spring Street, Newton, N.J. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider and take public comment on the Pace Glass Recycling Plan Amendment to the Sussex County Solid Waste Management Plan, submitted by Pace Glass for a proposed Class A Recycling Facility, County Route 669 (Limecrest Road), Andover Township.
Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:26-6.10, the following information is provided:
The Pace Glass Plan Amendment and site plan was prepared by Dykstra Walker Design Group and proposes a Class A Recycling Facility located on Block 108 Lot 4.02, County Route 669 (Limecrest Road), Andover Township. The proposed facility would accept pre-sorted glass recyclables and use advanced technology to separate glass by size and color and process for resale and reuse by glass container, fiberglass, and other glass industries. The proposed facility would process up to 1,500 tons per day in an ongoing operation (24 hours per day, 7 days a week) that involves up to 165 truckloads per day lo the site, with all trucks traveling to and from Route 15 to the north.

The proposed Pace Glass Plan Amendment may be reviewed at the offices of the Clerk of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, and on the Sussex County web site.
