Newton, NJ - There's no better way to pass a cold winter day than curling up with a good book. And with the Read S'more Books winter reading program at the Sussex County Libraries, reading can be rewarding and delicious too.

Beginning January 4 children in preschool through 4th grade will enjoy a tasty treat each week they read at least one book. Kids in grades 5-12 earn one raffle ticket for each book read and can win one of six deluxe S'mores Gift Packs being raffled at each Branch. Adults also earn one raffle ticket for each book read and will be entered to win the Grand Prize, a $100 Weis Gift Card. Each Branch will also draw its own adult winner of an official Sussex County Library mug replete with treats.

All log sheets and raffle tickets must be turned in by February 6th and all prizes will be awarded by the 10th. Stop in at any of the six Sussex County Library System locations to register and participate.
