If you do not receive your Vote By Mail ballot by October 13, or you misplaced or incorrectly marked your ballot, you can request a replacement ballot from the County Clerk. You may return your completed ballot in several ways: Election Dates & Deadlines:
Oct 13: Last day to register to vote in the General Election
Oct 27: Last day to apply by mail for a Mail-In Ballot for the General Election
Oct 31: Sussex County Clerk's Office in Newton is open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. to apply for a Mail-In Ballot
Nov 2: Last day to apply in person for Mail-In Ballot before 3 p.m. at the Sussex County Clerk's Office in Newton
Nov 3: General Election Day: Polls are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ballot drop boxes are locked at 8 p.m.
