The Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders joins the Points of Light Foundation and the Volunteer Center National Network in honoring volunteers by proclaiming April 27 through May 3, 2008, Volunteer Week in Sussex County. The theme "Inspire by Example" describes the many volunteers who share their time and talents for the betterment of the Sussex County community. Hal Wirths, Freeholder Director, states, "I have said many times, I don't know where the county would be without the tremendous amount of volunteers we have.
