Press Release - Sentencing of Bailey Wydner

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Bailey Wydner, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on September 13, 2019.
Wydner, age 19 of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to two years of probation and received credit for 17 days of time served. She was ordered to fulfill all conditions of PTI, provide a DNA sample and pay joint and several restitution in the amount of $3,594.10 and fines and fees totaling $280.00.
She pled guilty on July 29, 2019, to Conspiracy and Shoplifting, both third degree crimes.
The defendant conspired with another to take and actually did steal merchandise from the Hampton Walmart on April 15, April 21, and April 23, 2018.
Wydner was represented by Erik Hassing, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Sally Anne Monkemeier.
