Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Thomas Walsh, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on August 9, 2019.
Walsh, age 22 of Wantage, was sentenced to two years of probation. He was ordered to pay $12,472.34 in restitution. If the defendant pays $10,000 in restitution within the first year of probation, he will be discharged.
He pled guilty on June 17, 2019, to Burglary and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, both third degree crimes.
On August 10, 2017, in Wantage, the defendant stole the personal property of another. Walsh was represented by Shaun Morgan Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
