Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Gabriella Gobla, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on August 2, 2019.
Gobla, age 21 of Franklin, was sentenced to two years of probation. She was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service work, write a letter of apology and pay restitution of $25.00 and fines and fees totaling $805.00.
She pled guilty on June 5, 2019, to Theft of Mislaid Property, a third degree crime, and Possession of Marijuana, a Disorderly Persons offense.
On February 21, 2019, the defendant took a cell phone that was mistakenly left in a Vernon Township restaurant, and on July 10, 2018, she was in possession of marijuana in Hardyston Township.
Gobla was represented by Brent DiMarco, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
