Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of David G. Corcoran, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 21, 2019.
Corcoran, age 37 of Arverne, New York, was sentenced to two years of probation and given credit for 73 days of time served. He was ordered to continue in an Independent Living program until matriculation, abstain from drug use, and pay fines and fees totaling $655.00. His driver license was ordered suspended for six months.
He pled guilty on January 28, 2019, to Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a third degree crime, Receiving Stolen Property, a fourth degree crime, and Failure to Turn Over a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a disorderly persons offense.
He admitted to receiving and using a stolen credit card at a Lafayette gas station on August 27, 2017.
Corcoran was represented by Gary Kraemer, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
