Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Sarah Leyendecker, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 17, 2019.
Leyendecker, age 27 of Vernon, was sentenced to two years of probation and 90 days in the Sheriff’s Labor Assistance Program (SLAP) with jail credit. She was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, abide by an 11 p.m. curfew, make restitution of $2,400.00 and pay fines and fees totaling $405.00.
She pled guilty on October 17, 2018, to Conspiracy and Burglary, third degree crimes, and False Swearing, a fourth degree crime.
The defendant conspired with another to enter a vacant Wantage home on January 22, 2017. The defendant also made false statements while under oath.
Leyendecker was represented by David Dumbroff, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
