Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of John Regan, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 5, 2019.
Regan, age 53, of Wayne, was sentenced to 180 days in the county jail. He must also undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations and pay $155.00 in court fines and fees.
He pled guilty on February 5, 2019, to Driving While Suspended for a Second or Subsequent DWI, a crime of the fourth degree.
During a motor vehicle stop by Sparta Police, the defendant was found to be driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended driver’s license for previously having two or more DWI’s.
Regan was represented by Richard Baldi, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
