Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Joseph G. Zonca, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 5, 2019.
Zonca, age 38 of Wantage, was sentenced to two years of probation concurrent and co-terminous with his Passaic County Drug Court probation with credit for 460 days of time served. He was ordered to pay joint and several restitution of $2,400.00 and fines and fees totaling $675.00.
He pled guilty on October 26, 2018, to Conspiracy and Burglary, third degree crimes.
The defendant conspired with another to enter an unoccupied Wantage home on January 22, 2017, for the purpose of removing copper from within.
Zonca was represented by Thomas F. Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
