Press Release - Plea of Harry Stickle

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 11, 2019, by Harry Stickle.
     Stickle, age 26 of Hopatcong, pled guilty to Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, a fourth degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for April 18, 2019.
     The defendant admitted to attempting to injure an officer with the Hopatcong Police Department by kicking the officer while being placed under arrest on February 6, 2019.
     The case was investigated by Sergeant James Bianculli and Patrolman Nicholas Maresca of the Hopatcong Police Department. 
     Stickle was represented by Shaun Morgan Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
