Press Release - Sentencing of Krystyn Romualdo

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Krystyn Romualdo, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 14, 2018.
Romualdo, age 35, of Landing, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation with conditions of probation comprised of drug treatment, a mental health evaluation, 100 hours of community service, and payment of fines and fees.
On October 22, 2018, Romualdo pleaded guilty to one count of Hindering, a fourth degree offense and one count of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Heroin), a third degree offense. Romualdo admitted to hindering her own apprehension by providing false information to a law enforcement officer and to being in possession of 20 bags of Heroin.
Romualdo was represented by Marc Futterweit, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent Rafuse.
