Press Rlease - Plea of Kevin McGrogan

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 7, 2019, by Kevin McGrogan.
     McGrogan, age 24 of Sussex, pled guilty to Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a third degree crime, and a violation of probation.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for February 13, 2019.
     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to using an individual’s credit card to obtain cash and goods on May 26, 2018, in Vernon Township. 
     The case was investigated by Detective S. Gentle of the Vernon Township Police Department. 
     McGrogan was represented by Shaun M. Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
