Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 7, 2018, by Trent Robinson.
Robinson, age 26, of Newark, pled guilty to Credit Card Theft, a third degree crime and Theft by Deception, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for February 15, 2019.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to using stolen credit card information to fraudulently obtain merchandise from the Rockaway Walmart. The merchandise was valued at over $300.00.
The case was investigated by Dsg. K. A. Breiten of the New Jersey State Police.
Robinson was represented by Charles Simmons, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Magdalen Czykier.
