Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 17, 2018, by Jennifer Andrews.
Andrews, age 23, of Bushkill, Pennsylvania, pled guilty to False Public Alarm (a third degree crime). Sentencing is presently anticipated for February 1, 2019.
In pleading guilty the defendant admitted to falsely stating to a Victim’s Advocate that her life was being threatened via text messages by another.
The case was investigated by Trp. Adam Finch of the New Jersey State Police.
Andrews was represented by Ashley Zimmerman, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Magdalen Czykier.
