Press Release - Plea of Sarah Leyendecker

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of guilty pleas to an accusation and an indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 17, 2018, by Sarah Leyendecker.
     Leyendecker, age 26 of Lincoln Park, pled guilty to Conspiracy and Burglary, third degree crimes, and False Swearing, a fourth degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for December 7, 2018.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to conspiring with another to enter a vacant Wantage home on January 22, 2017.  The defendant further admitted to making false statements while under oath.
     The case was investigated by Tpr. B.A. Wawzyanick of the New Jersey State Police and Detective Dean Voris of the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.
     Leyendecker was represented by David Dumbroff, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
