Press Release - Sentencing of Theodore Robbins

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Theodore Robbins, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on February 2, 2018.
 
     Robbins, age 30, of Branchville, was sentenced to three years Probation with credit for 23 days served in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility.  He must also attend AA/NA a minimum of two times per week, complete one hundred hours of community service, undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, submit to random urine monitoring, complete his GED, testify truthfully against his co-defendants if necessary, and pay $1,155.00 in court fines and fees. 
 
     He pled guilty on October 30, 2017, to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a crime of the third degree. 
 
     The defendant was in possession of Heroin while he was driving a vehicle that was pulled over by New Jersey State Police while they were conducting another investigation.
 
     Robbins was represented by Steven Insley, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
