Press Release - Sentencing of Paul Mueller

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Paul Mueller, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on August 13, 2020.
Mueller, age 61 of Hopatcong, was sentenced to two years of probation and 180 days in jail. He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, submit a DNA sample and pay fines and fees totaling $911.00.
He pled guilty on July 9, 2020, to Driving While Suspended, a fourth degree crime.
The defendant operated a motor vehicle on January 12, 2020, in Hopatcong during a time period while his driver’s license was suspended for a second or subsequent conviction for driving while intoxicated.
Mueller was represented by Shaun Morgan Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
