Press Release - Sentencing of Erikson Polanco-Ramos

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Erikson Polanco-Ramos, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on July 16, 2020.
Ramos, age 29 of Paterson, was sentenced to three (3) years New Jersey State Prison, concurrent on all charges. He received credit of 260 days served and ordered to pay court fines and fees. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victims and their businesses and to testify truthfully against the co-defendants, if necessary.
He pled guilty on June 8, 2020 to two counts of Burglary, a third degree crime, two counts of Theft, a third degree crime, and one count of Criminal Mischief, a fourth degree crime.
These cases were investigated by Trooper Hendrix, Trooper Encarnacion, Trooper Pall, Trooper McGrath, Det. Jacinto and Det. Erny of the New Jersey State Police Department.
Ramos was represented by William Oake, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.
