Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of James D. Mann, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, Jr., J.S.C., on May 7, 2020.
Mann, age 34 of Hamburg, was sentenced to Probation conditioned upon 24 days of jail and to undergo a substance abuse evaluation and to follow any recommendations from same. He was ordered to pay fines and fees totaling $155.00.
He pled guilty on April 14, 2020, to Hindering his own Apprehension, a fourth degree crime. The defendant admitted to providing false information, namely another’s name, to a law enforcement officer in Andover Township on October 11, 2019 in an effort to avoid his arrest for an outstanding warrant.
Mann was represented by Thomas F. Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
