Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Harry Stickle, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 18, 2019.
Stickle, age 26 of Hopatcong, was sentenced to two years of probation with credit for 72 days of time served. He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, refrain from illegal substances and alcohol and pay fines and fees totaling $205.00.
He pled guilty on March 11, 2019, to Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, a fourth degree crime.
The defendant attempted to injure an officer with the Hopatcong Police Department by kicking the officer while being placed under arrest on February 6, 2019.
Stickle was represented by Shaun Morgan Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
