Press Release - Plea of Louise Ezzo

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, JSC, at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 1, 2019, by Louise Ezzo.
     Ezzo, age 45, of Sussex, pled guilty to one count of Receiving Stolen Property, a third degree crime, one count of Use of a Stolen Credit Card, a third degree crime, and one count of Credit Card Theft-Receiving Lost/Mislaid Credit Card, a fourth degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 10, 2019.
     Ezzo admitted to obtaining a lost or mislaid purse and to taking a credit card from the purse and using the credit card to purchase merchandise.
     The case was investigated by Trooper McCarthy of the New Jersey State Police.
     Louise Ezzo was represented by Steven Insley, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Magdalen Czykier.
