Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley Jr., J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on February 11, 2019 by Jacob Sin.
Sin, age 27, of Hopatcong, pled guilty to Burglary and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, both crimes of the third degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for March 21, 2019.
The defendant admitted he burglarized several vehicles in Hopatcong in November of 2018. When he was arrested by Hopatcong Police he was found to be in possession of Heroin.
Sin was represented by Charles O’Connell, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
