Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Earl Wall, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 16, 2019.
Wall, age 54 of Hopatcong, was sentenced to one year of probation with credit for 11 days of time served. His driver license was suspended for six months, and he was ordered to submit a DNA sample and pay fines and fees totaling $1,318.00.
He pled guilty to Exhibiting a False Government-Issued Document, a third degree crime, and to the motor vehicle offenses of Driving While Suspended and Failure to Produce a Required Document.
Wall provided Byram police officers with a false driver license on March 10, 2018.
Wall was represented by Joseph Corazza, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
