Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Jason Hartman, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 14, 2018.
Hartman, age 51, of Stanhope, New Jersey, was sentenced to 1 year probation, 10 days in the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility with credit for 3 days and the balance of 7 days to be served in SLAP. Hartman’s sentence also included restitution of $460.00 with fines and fees totaling $155.00.
He pleaded guilty on October 23, 2018, to one count of Theft (a fourth degree crime).
Hartman was represented by Charles O’Connell, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent Rafuse.
