Press Release - Sentencing of Nathan Langley

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Nathan Langley, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 14, 2018.
     Langley, age 31 of Newton, was sentenced to three years of probation.  He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, complete 150 hours of community service work, maintain employment, provide a DNA sample and pay fines and fees totaling $1,399.00.
     He pled guilty on October 30, 2018, to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime.
The defendant was in possession of heroin on September 9, 2017, in Sparta.
     Langley was represented by Jeffrey Patti, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
