Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 11, 2018, by Kemar Jackman.
Jackman, age 27, of Brooklyn, New York, pled guilty to two (2) counts of Conspiracy to Commit Forgery, third degree offenses and two (2) counts of Forgery, third degree offenses. On April 6, 2017 and April 15, 2017, Jackman used counterfeit bills to make purchases at two separate Quick Check stores in Newton and Hopatcong. Sentencing is presently anticipated for July 27, 2018.
Jackman was represented by Charles O’Connell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner.
