Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Thomas C. Ratliff, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 1, 2018.
Ratliff, age 50, of Budd Lake, New Jersey, was sentenced to three years probation with eight days credit for time served to run concurrent with Morris County probation. Ratliff must also undergo a Substance Abuse Evaluation, submit a DNA sample, comply with all terms of probation as imposed in Morris County by the Hon. Thomas J. Critchley, J.S.C. and pay fines and fees totaling $1,205.00. In addition, Ratliff must pay $93.00 in motor vehicle violation fines.
He pled guilty on April 23, 2018, to one count of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (a Third Degree Crime).
Ratliff was represented by Public Defender, David Nufrio and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Rachelle Jones.
