Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to accusations before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 14, 2018, by Michael Wislotski.
Wislotski, age 28 of Hamburg, pled guilty to Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a third degree crime, and False Report to Law Enforcement, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 29, 2018.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to using an individual’s credit card to make multiple transactions at various locations in Hamburg, Franklin and Newton in February of 2018. Wislotski also admitted to making a false report to Hamburg Police on September 19, 2015.
The cases were investigated by Patrolman Devin Gormley and Patrolman Lawrence Barcza of the Hamburg Police Department.
Wislotski was represented by David Nufrio, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
