Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 14, 2018, by Earl Wall.
Wall, age 53 of Hopatcong, pled guilty to Exhibiting a False Government-Issued Document, a third degree crime, and to the motor vehicle offenses of Driving While Suspended and Driving Without Liability Insurance. Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 29, 2018.
On March 10, 2018, he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to providing Byram police officers with a false driver license.
The case was investigated by Sergeant Daniel Dewald of the Byram Township Police Department.
Wall was represented by David A. Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
