Press Release - Plea of Christopher Krak

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 9, 2018, by Christopher Krak.
     Krak, age 23, of Ogdensburg, New Jersey, pled guilty to one (1) count of Eluding, a third degree offense, Driving While Intoxicated, a motor vehicle offense, and Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test, a motor vehicle offense. On November 12, 2017, Krak was driving his vehicle at a high rate of speed while under the influence of alcohol and failed to stop when a law enforcement officer activated his overhead lights and tried to pull him over. Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 1, 2018.
     Krak was represented by Paul M. Selitto, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner.
