Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 26, 2018, by Harold Hosking, III.
Hosking, age 40, of Branchville, New Jersey, pled guilty to one (1) count of Aggravated Assault, a third degree offense, one (1) count of Driving While Suspended, a fourth degree offense and Refusal, a motor vehicle offense. On October 27, 2017, Hosking was arrested after he assaulted a patron at a local bar. Hosking fled the scene and attempted to hide from State Police. Upon arrest, he was found to have a suspended license due to a second or subsequent DWI conviction.
Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 4, 2018.
Hosking was represented by David A. Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
