Press Release - Plea of Allan W. Lazier, Jr.

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an Indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 6, 2018, by Allan W. Lazier, Jr.
     Lazier, age 39, of Vernon, pled guilty to Theft, a third degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for April 27, 2018. 
     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to removing items not belonging to him from a storage unit in Hardyston, and selling them at a pawn shop without permission. The items were valued in excess of $500.00
     The case was investigated by Ptl. Richard Nudo of the Hardyston Police Department. 
     Lazier was represented by Shaun Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner.
