Prosecutor's Office and NJ State Police Conducting October Food Drive

Donations will be collected from October 1st through October 31st and will be distributed to local domestic violence shelters during the month of November.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Victim Assistance Unit located in the Sussex County Prosecutor's office is partnering with the New Jersey State Police and is collecting canned goods and non-perishable foods items during the month of October to benefit individuals and their families living in shelters that have been affected by domestic violence.

Donations will be collected from October 1st through October 31st and will be distributed to local domestic violence shelters during the month of November to assist with their Thanksgiving efforts. Donations can be dropped off at the Prosecutor's Office located at 19-21 High Street, Newton, New Jersey or the New Jersey State Police barracks located on Route 206 in Augusta, New Jersey.
