     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of James W. Krahling, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 6, 2020.

 

     Krahling, age 46 of Newton, was sentenced to two years probation.  He must also undergo DNA testing, pay $10,000 in restitution and pay mandatory fines and fees.

 

     He pled guilty on January 29, 2020 to Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property Received, a third degree crime.  Krahling admitted to improperly using money that belonged to Newton Roller Hockey and doing so without the league’s permission.

 

     Krahling was represented by David Nufrio, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Rachelle Jones.
