Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley Jr., J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 10, 2019 by Timothy MacDonald.
MacDonald, age 32 of Stanhope, pled guilty to Burglary, a crime of the third degree and Theft, a crime of the third degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for August 2, 2019
The defendant admitted to taking a 1999 Ford Ranger from an Hopatcong parking lot without permission. He then drove it to an East Orange Train Station where it was later recovered.
MacDonald was represented by Bruce C. Farrier and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
