The Sussex County Library is a Regional Resource Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. As a Regional Resource Center, the Sussex County Library can loan Assistive Listening Devices to patrons and organizations and can serve patrons who are not only deaf but hard of hearing.
Historic Bridge K-07 and Newly Opened K-09

On September 30, 2008, the NJDOT opened the new Sussex County Bridge K-09 carrying Sparta-Stanhope Road (CR-605) over the historic Lackawanna (Railroad) Cutoff on the Stanhope Hopatcong border; thereby, allowing the adjacent 97 year old County Bridge K-07 to be retired from active service.

The Sussex County Prescription Savings Program (SCPSP) was launched in 2004 in order to help citizens save on prescription costs. Since the inception of the program, residents of Sussex County, participating in the program, have filed 22,810 claims saving $420,754.
