The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides a valuable service to Sussex County residents, regardless of age, whose incomes are $50,000 or below. MaryLou Schnurr, Director of the Division of Senior Services, states, "In 2008 our volunteers assisted over 850 County residents through the VITA program. We could not provide this service without our dedicated volunteers."
