Specially trained Victim Advocates at the Sussex County Office of Victim Witness Advocacy provide services to help victims of crime. If you have been the victim of a crime these services can provide the information and support you need, completely free of charge.

Every year in April, the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) helps lead communities throughout the country in their annual observances of National Crime Victims' Rights Week Link opens in a new window (NCVRW), which will be observed in 2020 on April 19-24. This year's theme is "Seek Justice | Ensure Victims' Rights | Inspire Hope." This weeklong initiative promotes victims' rights and honors crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf.
