National Crime Victims' Rights Week April 2 - 8 2017 Strength Resilience Justice 250 x 250

Specially trained Victim Advocates at the Sussex County Office of Victim Witness Advocacy provide services to help victims of crime. If you have been the victim of a crime these services can provide the information and support you need, completely free of charge.

Every year in April, the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) helps lead communities throughout the country in their annual observances of National Crime Victims' Rights Week Link opens in a new window (NCVRW), which will be observed in 2017 on April 2-8. This year's theme - Strength Resilience Justice - emphasizes the need to reach victims where they are - physically, culturally, emotionally - if they are to trust that the system will work for them. When victims feel understood and supported, they are more likely to seek services.
